Thank you Tea.. We will be heading out to the West Coast for some sunshine and go to the beach. Just a little gathering of the small clan that's already there.

. . . Well, thank you Linda! It really is pretty soon. If it’s good weather, we may catch up on yard work and grill hamburgers. Charlie🐾 sleeps thru most holidays🤭
We have a mini vacation coming up, so we probably won’t do anything big for Memorial Day . . I’ll hang a patriotic wreath and put out the flags🇺🇸 Hope you and your family have a lot of fun!!

silverfox19134

Memorial weekend is almost upon us, so I wish for all of you weekend packed with all the fun things that you and your hubby and Charlie love to do. Enjoy!! (LOL:) Linda

G’morning Linda!
I think I’m totally fascinated with Butterfly Houses, so if I’m ever traveling thru Coconut Creek, FL I’d love to visit that one🦋 You’re right, it’s a good thing there were no birds in the conservatory with the butterflies, what a disaster that would be🙄 Have a great Thursday!

Thank you, Tea.... We have a Butterfly World in Coconut Creek FL. It's a 20-minute drive from my house. I used to take my grandchildren there to enjoy all the wonders of a butterfly. Your puzzle is very lovely. He blends in with the foliage. Lucky for him he's not in the wild or a bird would have picked him off. Thanks again for posting the
beautiful puzzle. Linda

Suzy
. . That’s what I was trying to remember, “Luna Moth”, it really resembles it :) Have a good rest of the day!

The mint green on this one is so pretty against the brown and white. The green color reminds me of Luna moths.
Thanks, Tea. Although I am taking my time in visiting the butterflies, I am enjoying every second of the visit!

@valt46
My Goodness, only one butterfly, that’s concerning. For the last few years I haven’t had but just a few bees. My garden focus this year will be to attract butterflies and bees back to my flower beds. The wooden bee houses (not hives) are seen a lot in stores . . I’m curious if they ‘work’🐝

valt46

Tea we have had only about one butterfly this year, Last year it was an absence of bees this year we have loads of bees. ☺♥

Teagardener

@valt46
Well, I had to pay a bit extra for the butterflies to pose (sit still) for me, but it was worth it😉 Lol . . no actually, this one sat still for a long time, in a cooler area! The volunteer in the conservatory said that early in the morning, when it’s cool is the best time to see the butterflies with their wings spread. I imagine you see many of them in your gardens :)

valt46

Tea you caught this Butterfly beautifully thank you ☺♥

JillianB

It is a beauty. Quite magical. Thanks Tea

BACKin15

So very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Same here, Tea. And a few very small ones when I'm out on a trail somewhere. But mostly just what you said: monarchs and swallowtails.

Teagardener

@bluebird42
Seems like I saw one years ago, maybe in another state. Of course this could be a very rare butterfly, found only on a tiny island, far, far away😂 My memory isn’t working like it used to. But actually, I don’t have many butterflies in my flowerbeds, a few Swallowtails and Monarches are the main ones.

bluebird42

I haven't seen one Tea, nor have I even heard of them but then they have such wonderful camoflage in their coloration that even if we do have any I could easily miss them.

Teagardener

@bluebird42
Thanks Jacki :)
I was wondering, have you ever seen this kind of butterfly further north, where you live?

Teagardener

@davitai
She really does blend in well :)
Thanks for working the puzzle!

davitai
