Waf woof dear aunties. It was fun, If I was at the grass I could look over the water to see him. We could chat but it wasn't allowed to bark loud. So we didn't, but dogs don't need words to understand each other. ☺ Aunt Val, he was. Yes aunties, socializing is very important. Sweet licks ♥♥♥

I agree with you Bella. Socializing (with other dogs, also with people and children) is so important, together with a good upbringing (we say: opvoeding) and lots of love!
Such a pity many people forget to socialize their dog or don't dare too - or more often: don't take time to!

Benji looked like a gentle giant ready to meet a dainty Bella♥♥♥

Mum is right, you do need to go and meet other dogs.
Sad about Benji..

I seem to remember a picture of you looking towards Benji's home...when he barked at day before you'd met. :)))

Waf waf woof dear aunt Ardy, it surely does. ☺ Sweet licks ♥♥♥

We older folks like it when the young ones take the time to be friendly. Maybe it works the same for dogs. Thanks, Ank.

Waf waf woof dear aunties. Yes Benji was a kind but older dog. He lived at the opposite of the water, so from our apartment I could see his house. Benji died a few years ago. We used to chat together, he didn't play anymore. Aunties, mum encouraged me to get to know all the dogs, she calls that socializing. And she's right, that's important to a dog, it makes you friendly. ☺ Aunt Jana, thanks for the greetings, please return them to my friends. ♥ Sweet licks ♥♥♥

I hope you found a few minutes to stop and play with Benji before walking on in the direction of home. He looks like another gentle giant.
Woof woof! ♥♥♥

I think I remember Benji, but haven't seen him lately. Maybe he only lived near where you use to live.

Benji looks like a much older dog. Cute photo.

Hi Benji. One can never have enough friends.

Bella, you were very friendly right from your puppy days. Benji will be a gentle friend.

You are always ready to greet friends!

Good morning Bella, another great friend. I wish you a wonderful day together with your mom. Great scratches and sweet licks. Greetings from Laura, Max and Jana. ♥♥♥
