Hanne, I so agree. I'd be fine with the heels, but not the platforms. They make me wobble. Robbie, glad to hear it! However, you just might give Dame Edna a run for the money.
Loveyagnes, because I never learned to leave any shoes this gorgeous at the store, I have hundreds of pairs that I don't wear anymore! Wish I had all my money back. Roseheather, what female wouldn't want these, young or old. I love them, but probably couldn't stand up in them.
Ohhhhh...more "shoe girls" !!!!! I love these and would even probably try them out!!!! Even though I know that girls "??????" who are 72 should leave things like this at the store. Sharon
Fodus, my first pair (and almost every one after) was also over 3", and I wore high heels to work all my life. Now I have a hammer toe and bone spurs which make it painful to wear, but I still do sometimes! Those and heavy shoulder bags ruin women's posture. I had an X-ray and one of my shoulders was visibly lower than the other, and it was from years of shoulder bags and luggage. Thanks, both of you for stopping by.
I got bad feet from wearing high heels. My mother was ashamed of me because I was only 5' 3" (now I'm 5' 2"). When I was 14 she got me a pair of heels that were 3 1/2" and I complained that the only female in America who wore higher heels was Abby Lane, Xavier Cugat's wife at the time. She wore 4" heels regularly.
Yes, and when we were young we could hardly wait to wear high heels. I am 5'8" and my first pair were over 3 inches tall and bright red with a purse to match.
