Bubble

You're right Jig, and here's my Haze as well !! (❀ᴗ❀)

Haze1952

Thanks Bubble girl ♥

Jigsawfanatic

Maybe those skeletons are a warning to anyone who doesn't buy anything at the Farmer's Market. "If you don't buy here, you will starve to death."

Bubble

Nothing like a strict diet Al3 to bring out your bone structure ! (❀ᴗ❀)

Artslover3

Cute.

sparklightie

♥♥♥♥

Bubble

Sleep well lovie and see you tomorrow xx(❀ᴗ❀)

sparklightie

off to bed but have to drop in before ♥♥♥

Bubble

One thing we DON'T have to worry about Brightie, is being TOO thin, haha. See you on ours later xxxx (❀ᴗ❀)

sparklightie

So happy you and harvey did not have this problem xxxx oh my goodness every time we went on a cruise we put on some weight - we did counteract some of it by never taking the lifts, and we walked a lot every single day, in our younger days we danced a LOT xxxxxxxxxxxx hugs and chuckles ☺♥☺

irmachac

Glad you ☺ hope you have a great day. Greetings and hubby.

Bubble

Well they looked pretty hungry and ferocious to us Irena - good job they were chained up ! (❀ᴗ❀)

irmachac

Yes, and especially if they were hungry ☺

Bubble

Luckily for everyone, Irena they're not - they would be much to dangerous !! (❀ᴗ❀)

irmachac

Are these Bubble robots?

Bubble

They cleared out, Judy, but they cleared the food out first !! (❀ᴗ❀)

jals

Gee Bubble,
That should have cleared the buffet so you could get everything you wanted without it running out. lol

John,
That would probably be fairly effective at keeping germs at bay. It would also probably keep my friends at bay too. lol

Bubble

I tried that John, but they kept throwing me onto the stage insisting I was in a pageant, costume competition or Halloween dress. I kept referring them to you, but no luck.

When I tried the Buffet in the same gear, everyone screamed and disappeared, I could just make out some of their screams ……….. 'creature from the black lagoon' …………. 'Nessie. ………….. 'Jaws' ………….oh that crazy Canadian lady !! you just can't win! (❀ᴗ❀)

All of you are probably too young to remember, but I learned how to prevent getting infected and sick many years ago while watching "Sea Hunt" on our little 19" b&w TV.... and it is very easy to do. No waiting 6 months to get skewered by a doctor, you don't need insurance and you can do this in the privacy of your own home. All you have to do is dress like Lloyd Bridges... wet suit, oxygen tank, goggles and your good to go. No fears of catching hepititous, the Bohmian Flu and yes, it protects you from invisibilityism.... But you may want to pass on the flippers, they make it very difficult to maneuver a shopping cart

Juba1010

I always use my own pen. I sanitize shopping carts and wash my hands when I’ve been out in public. You are more likely to get a cold from touching your eyes and nose than by mouth. Beware of doorknobs and elevator buttons. There isn’t much you can do about airborne viruses. I do take Airborne chewable tabs when I’m around sick people.

Bubble

You're not a germophobe Judy, like me you're just super careful. When we stay at a hotel I take sanitising cloths and go over all the areas that the cleaners would miss, like switches, handles etc.
I took hand sanitisers on the boat, the buffet was spotless cleaned frequently and managers walked up and down checking everything all the time. Apart from many sanitiser stands there was a sink at either end near the entrances and we always washed. However some of my friends who cruise all the time, said there is an ethnic group who don't wash their hands before they start touching ! What can you do, how can you force people to be hygienic. On our next cruise I'll make sure I'm holding a sanitising cloth when I handle implements. I was going to do that anyway but saw how much cleaning was going on and figured EVERYONE would be sensible enough to keep their hands clean. If its airborne its almost impossible to avoid, although Hubb did. (❀ᴗ❀)

jals

Juba,
I'm with you. Not a fan of buffets. To me the food never tastes as good and I can't eat a lot at one time. Not to mention all the germs that are left on the serving handles from other people. ugh!
Have I mentioned I'm a little of a germophobe? lol

95° is way too hot to be out walking around, Bubble. Our grandson lives in a suburb of L.A. so we've been on those freeways. lol I even drove on one myself, when I got lost.

Bubble

Hi Lunie, How are you? (❀ᴗ❀)

Dilubreuer

For sure...

Bubble

J and J and J ! When we left Vancouver it was about 10C and arriving in L.A. it was a heatwave 95F
Locals told us the day before it was much hotter because there was no breeze at all. For us living in the north it was hard to move around, we don't like the heat anyway. Still weren't actually walking around much as 90% of the time was on the freeway (another eye opener !) (❀ᴗ❀)

Thanks Jig for the info. BB I will be writing to Jimmy Buffet ! (❀ᴗ❀)

Juba1010

I never get my money’s worth at a buffet. I’d rather pay for a meal and take home the leftovers to eat later. Sorry it was so hot for you Bubble. LA always seemed hot and smoggy for me. I like San Francisco better.

jals

Bubble,
It's probably been 15 years since we did a tour, so I'm sure a lot has changed. Too bad though. How hot was it?

Jigsawfanatic

The Swedish popularised this style of eating in the 20th century with the 'smorgasbord' concept, incidentally exhibited at the 1939 New York World's Fair exhibition. The 'all-you-can-eat' tagline, however, has been credited to Las Vegas entertainment manager Herbert Cobb McDonald, who introduced the idea in 1956.

nanab

Jimmy.

Bubble

I wonder who invented the buffets Jig - the downfall of man (and woman) (❀ᴗ❀)

Jigsawfanatic

Almost, Bubble. I went from 140 pounds in high school to 228 in marriage I think. Marriage and wives who are good cooks cause us men to expand greatly.

Bubble

And you're twice the man you were Jig - how's that for a compliment? (❀ᴗ❀)

Judy our Hollywood tour was not very enjoyable, 5 half hours in a bus, mainly spent on the freeway, too hot to walk around the handprints and sidewalk choc a bloc with people, litter ….. we were disappointed, but have been told that 20 years ago it was a great place to visit. Lunch was a good deal and delicious though.

The farmer's market, last stop hasn't got a patch on Granville Is. Market and was baking hot with nothing much to buy. We had to get a mortgage for 2 ice creams $11 for two ……… whew ……. (❀ᴗ❀)

jals

Did you do a Hollywood Tour, Bubble? Did you see the stars handprints in front of the Theater? That was a fun place but lots and lots of tourists. :-)

Jigsawfanatic

I've gone to the buffet way TOO often! That's how I became the man I am.

Juba1010

Badum tshhh! Such timing BB. :-)

Bubble

I'LL BE BACK ……………. it definitely was Arnie, John and we finished him off tout suite!

This was part of our luxury suite - the skeleton was one of the passengers on the cruise before, he couldn't pull the balcony door back open - note to self, eat more spinach/spam sandwiches.
Nor sure how the doggie got there, may have jumped up from the deck below and then eaten the passenger when room service didn't arrive. (❀ᴗ❀)

rswestley

It looks as if your cruise had all the best amenities, Bub! Table, folding chairs, the skeletal remains of a dog... were you able to get the Terminator's autograph? Was that handsome young man one of the door prizes? Did you get to take him home? Does he do windows? Wow! After seeing all of this, I cannot wait to go on a cruise...

Bubble

A man, his dog and his skeleton - Harvey definitely hasn't lost THAT much weight.
Thanks Jig and BB. (❀ᴗ❀)

@morepiecesplz

especially for you mpp (❀ᴗ❀)

nanab

No, I'm pretty sure that's Harvey.

Jigsawfanatic

I thought it was a horse. I stand corrected.

nanab

Harvey looks of average height and weight to me, cute dog too.

Jigsawfanatic

Waiting till the last breath to get a meal is not a good idea.
