And yes pushing a mower on hills does burn a million calories. lol
And if we skip dessert we should be down 5 lbs the next day.
You asked about my step counter. I used to use my phone, but I got a new one and it just didn't work right. I asked for and received a fit bit for Christmas. It counts your steps, measures your heart rate, tells you how many calories you've burned (which I don't pay attention to), and gives how many miles you've walked also. I really wanted to count steps, and check on my sleep. But you can get a pedometer and measure your steps that way. I think I have one here that I've never used, I would send you if you wanted it. Also, only weigh once a week. Your weight can fluctuate from day to day and it's easy to get discouraged if you don't see the scale move, or even go up.

Thanks, Dave for the virtual dessert! I just spent an hour pushing the old push mower (not self-propelled) on the hills of the yard step is to use the weed whacker on the Very Steep parts. By my estimation, I have burned a million calories and sweated a gallon of water...but I may be wrong. :-) Have a Great Weekend!

WOW Judy!!!! You will have to coach me! Do you use a pedometer or some kind of digital/internet link-up device? We don't have good internet/cell phone here (I can lose my cell service when I turn around in my chair at my desk-ugh!).

I'm glad to hear you're still working on losing the sensible way which includes a treat now and then. Same way I am doing it. Spent 7 days in San Francisco and lost weight. There weren't a lot of sweet treats.
