Celestine-Fluorite-Fluorescence-1
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
The fluorescent mineral world offers a spectacular palette of colors under short-wave and long-wave UV light, making ordinary-looking minerals come alive. The above image shows the root beer-colored Fluorite bisected by a white Celestine crystal. Then, look what happens when it is exposed to ultraviolet light! Specimen is one I have from a long-closed Clay Center, OH quarry, collected years ago. The images are about twice life-size.
