Of course I washed and refilled the jelly feeder. I am a very well trained human! I am getting a lot fewer birds these days. I was filling the jelly two or three times a day and now once is probably enough. The house finches live here year round, but I wonder if some of them nest somewhere else. They eat the jelly. The warblers are seasonal and are gone now, but I didn't think they were eating so much of the jelly. I didn't see them often, but maybe I was just missing them. 😊

Good job. The female oriole just flew onto the trellis below the hummingbird feeder. I'm deliberately not reaching ... never mind, she flew off again. And I didn't stare at her or move my hands from the keyboard. Maybe she was trying to tell me that she wants the jelly feeder refilled. There's a little bit left at the bottom, but maybe she figures she deserves fresh jelly.
