Not the theme of this week, but I'll treat you to a follow up of Goofie -not as a kitten though - and a neighbour kitty, one more time. This was Google....the new cat they got after Mickey had disappeared. Google also came sit on my kitchen window sill looking inside at Goofie. I had the side window slightly opened so they could 'smell' each other. Their 'meeting up' was always very friendly!!!☺☺

Impie

Good for you, GG, I've tried to solve puzzles on my tablet once, but it didn't work so well for me☺. I'm glad you managed though and enjoyed the treat! ♥

GOSPELGRANDMA

I managed to solve on iPad! A great puzzle, Impie. It was a nice treat indeed!

Impie

Glad you like the treat, Nancy. Goofie would make soft 'prutt' sounds when he saw Google, it was so sweet. I don't know whether or not Google made a sound too, I couldn't hear it through the window! :-))

You're welcome, Sherry. Goofie, must've always liked his name too, he at least listen very well to it! ♥

jojosmom417

Thank you Impie, for filling us in on how Goofie got his name. Mistake or not, it certainly seemed to fit him to a "T". Sherry

calluna

Yay! Another Goofie treat. Looks like a friendly get together....hanging out, swapping the day's news....LOL....always fun imagining what their conversation/thoughts might be. :-))

Impie

Correct, Marilyn, Goofie used to 'fence fight' throught the veritcal fence boards with Luna next door, but it was never really mean....but any kitty, who dared trespassing 'his' garden, like Misty or Luna's brother Tammy, could count a 'beating' LOL

@jojosmom417 - I'm glad you enjoyed the photos of Goofie, Sherry.
How Goofie got his name is a funny story. In the shelter they had named him "Jovi" (of Bon Jovi), but we didn't actually like the name. But after having a Lucky and a Happy it was difficult to find a suitable name, (and certainly not Lucky 2 or Happy 2) so I figured we should give him a name that sounded like Jovi....in Dutch we pronounce Goofy just like Jovi or Sophie etc. only our Dutch G doesn't sound like a 'soft K" like in English! (hope you still can follow my explanation☺☺)
So when I said Goofy would be a nice name we decided that was gonna be his name!. Then my hubby went behind the computer and registred him for Animal Health Insurance and while typing his name he mistakingly wrote Goofie (with ie) and before he would change it I asked him to just leave it like this, it had some appealing to it☺☺....so there you have it, that is how Goofie got his name. He was 'goofie' from time to time, so it suited him well for 16 years!♥

Aww, thanks for this lovely story, Faye....:)))

No idea, Betty, Goofie was a natural I guess :-))

Thank you, lurdo, yes, he was a sweetie and I guess Google sensed that too, Google was a nice kitty also!♥

Thanks, Ella, yes they couldn't actually touch of course, but they were never 'ugly' to each other! ♥☺♥

Glad you enjoyed the treat, Bobbie....They had similar markings but their faces were so different, I'll post a photo of Google looking in in full glory! ☺

Yes, Lynetteoz, it was fun and strange at the same time, I did often wonder that if the glass hadn't been between them how they would be then! :-)

LOL sbl...if only I had opened the window wider.....then it would've been clear if their friendship was still impossible! :-)

Very Pyramus and Thisbe! XX

Lynetteoz

Looked like a lovely friendship Impie even though it was through a window. Thank-you for another pic of gorgeous Goofie :-)

luckybie

That sure is a sweet treat Impie - I wonder if they thought of each other... " hey, we kinda
look alike." ♥

EllaMB

This is so sweet! I'm glad they liked each other.

How nice that they were friends . it is a nice photo and of course Goofie looks awesome. Thank You Mrs. Impie.

Oh Impie, however did you raise such a well behaved boy??? My kids would have yeowled, howled and been in a right snit!
I Love IT!!! :)))

This reminds me of our neighbours in our townhouse complex. Their property was higher than ours closest to the house so the fence was about twice my height at that spot. It had trellis work at the top. One day we were out gardening and this little voice from the other side of the fence said, "Hi, neighbour." When I looked up I could see these brilliant blue eyes peeking through the trellis...their little grandson. :)))

jojosmom417

Oh, Impie, thank you so much for sharing more photos of your precious boy. It's good that Goofie and Google were friendly. I have to say that I came late to the party, so I never learned just how Goofie got his name. I do remember someone commenting once about how that was such a bad name for a cat (a "cat", indeed! Harrumph!!!). Needless to say that person suffered the wrath of all of Goofie's friends on Jigidi. Anyway, I thank you again for your willingness to let us see him a few more times. Sherry

canoekaw

How nice they were friendly. As I recall some of Goofie's neighbors were not so nice.
