Our Clematis

This plant always "shows it's stuff", as they say.

These are beautiful Fred - we have never had success with our clematis ! (̑̑•̺̑̑•̑̑)

And it is beautiful indeed. I could sit down and gaze at it all day long.

I haven't a clue as to it's name. We call it our "beautiful purple Clematis". ;-)

Could the name be 'President'?

eaglefeather and Suzy- My working career had always involved creating and building museum exhibits. After retirement I needed a "new" challenge to stay involved with creating and working with my hands. I took up welding and an entire new world opened up as far as creativity goes. I find the planning, construction and installations to be a whole lot of FUN!

Suzy-Yes, the obelisk is my doing as well as the bell and "s" hooks. This bell was my first. I've made 14 since. Gifts to friends, family, and wedding present(s) on two occasions. I make them from gas cylinders that don't pass re-certification for some reason or another. They can usually be had for $20.
