Gaucho in the desert Argentina

Gauchos were the offspring of the Spanish 'gentlemen' and the native Indian women. But they were classed as criminals and if they went into the cities were shot on sight. The horses were left behind by the Spanish and had to fend for themselves in a very harsh environment, the result being nowadays very strong, with great stamina, and being perfect for the gauchos. The saddles, bridles and tools and weapons are made by the gauchos.
This gaucho came riding out of the desert and let me take his photo. Best holiday ever, in 2019, in this most interesting of countries. I learned so much.
