@beyondwords we normally get a mid winter thaw that gets rid of most of the snow

On the news we saw the huge amounts of snow in southern Ontario and Quebec. Wow!

In my part of Calgary we've had no more than 15 cm (6") snow on the ground, usually less. No big snowbanks! We've just finished a long very cold spell and are enjoying a week of spring-like weather before winter returns with a little snow.

For some reason this has been a long tedious winter. Snow every day, frozen pipes, the works. But Spring is only a month away.

I agree that there is, big time. Just be careful if you need to go to the store.

I would not be able to see over the snow.

We have run out of places to pile the snow, all we can do is dig small pathways in the stuff. The snow banks are 5 feet tall on the street and way taller than that in places.
