The town's layout features straight streets, uniform yellow-brick houses, and a central church square that served as the heart of the community.

Despite political changes, the town retained its distinct character and traditions. Today, it is one of Europe's best-preserved Moravian settlements and was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015 ♥
