I'm very glad to meet Holly. She's beautiful. And I can see why she likes this window. Hoping to see her again, maybe in a puzzle with a few more pieces.

you are so welcome.....folks just can’t leave well enough along....computers and phones keep “upgrading” too and makes things more difficult every time...more steps etc....just hate it too. Hang in there.

O&A I didn’t follow all those new rules etc either...seems there are those to compete for being #1...Idon’t find that very important....but the way you pause a puzzle is simple...use the space bar while working on the puzzle...it should take you to the photo of the puzzle and there you can also change the background...I have done that when the one I have is too close to the colors of the puzzle. Try it...you’ll like it.

I agree with it all...we lived on a farm until I was 6....wonderful life, walks in the woods...absolutely....wide sky is a fabulous thing..and add the vast sea below...pure joy.
Oh, I love a stick shift.....hard to find now. So easy to start when your battery fails!

I reminds me of the “old days” when had finally learned to drive, and my grandmother would say. “let’s go for a buggy ride” and off we would go, usually to Hillsborough.

love it....we went to Turkey once, on our way to the coast...and it was Thanksgiving Day!!! No one there but us, but seemed only proper to mail a postcard from there!!!! LOL

@oldandancient They are the very ones who should be wearing the masks to protect themselves if that is true.....................duh. so they claim it so they don’t have to wear one. Now that is really dumb. I guess the store has to take their word, but it seems to me that the store should have to protect all the others. The stores up here do it. All of them. I guess your governor has not issued an edict. He should. I have breathing problems and I wouldn’t go out there without a mask. They are crazy. Here is something going around that fits the situation...”Imagine if in London during the Blitz there’d been a whole bunch of people going “I’LL TURN ON MY LIGHTS IF I FEEL LIKE IT.” That is what they are doing.

they really shouldn’t let them in without....oh, well, those folks are just not concerned for others...only themselves...and we know who they are

❣️gosh, @oldandancient , never thought of all that...I’m sure you are right. They need to get their laptops from home!!! Imagine all of them trying to use the library!!! With their own laptops they can access the library from outside...or McDonalds...or Panera...it is going to be a zoo. Condo friends there now reported today "There are a few more people here this weekend, but mostly owners, so it’s nice! A beautiful, breezy, sunny day. We just picked up a grocery order from Food Lion. Some items were substituted, and others just weren’t available, but really not a problem.” Our building of 15 units has only 2 that rent, and one more that seems to “loan it out” so it is hopeful that when the main season is over, it will be safer.

@calluna and @Juba1010 ...I am ok...my focus is on other things right now, but I do check in briefly almost daily ...just taking a break.
Holly is keeping her toes warm in this picture!! Both she and Ivy are fine.....they are in their usual post in chairs just behind me...we stick together.
Hoping things improve so we can go to the coast in September when the crowds are gone. Folks down there don’t always wear masks and we have an elevator....❣️
