Edie, a few days ago on the news, a security camera at a subway station caught a guy in his 60s who accidentally fell off the platform and onto the track. I didn't realize it, but the tracks are electrified and he could have died, but a man jumped down, and between the man and some others, the guy was saved.

Thank you, Magda. :-)

PJ, when I first made this, it was much, much darker and REALLY reminded me of a subway station, eerily so. But because it was so dark, I had to lighten it up in order to attract solvers.

Mandy, I lived in NYC one summer and the thing I remembered most about the subways is that they were noisy and that by the time I got back to my apartment I was covered with dust-like particles. But thank heavens there are such things as subways. :-)

Wendy, this is wonderful, and reminds me very much of the underground in London. I remember also being told to beware of the light at the end of a tunnel... because it might be an oncoming train!!! LOL!!
Thanks for all the hard work (time) you put into creating such lovely puzzles for us :~)))

OOOOOOOOOOh Wendy, this is an excellent puzzle design, and the finished image revealed a lot of small striking effectful details - the thin vertical stripes seemed to hang i mid air and gave an aerie feeling. The title is great, and the puzzle is a highly artistic impression of a subway - being drawn to the center.... without getting in the way of a train rushing by... :-)))

Wendy, you have shown us the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel, The light everyone knows, but nobody can see, when it is really necessary. Thank you.

Stay back from the edge, there's a train coming. Just repeating what my mother said to me my entire life if she knew I was going to be on the subway. Thanks Wendy, lots of colourful fun here.

Whoa, Pat, when you mentioned "zippy" I immediately looked at the leader board and...well, there you were and still are, at the tippy top. :-)

When I go to the city, the stations and tunnels are never this marvelous to look at--maybe Mayor Bloomberg can get you to do a makeover!!! Cool, zippy puzzle! :-)))

Way to go, Willy! I hope you stay....but, but.... ;-)

Well, not work, but time; it took a lot of time. :-)

Wendy13

This took a LOT of work, but I'm so pleased with the results. :-) Thank you, Willy. :-)
