I had totally forgotten the one by Buddy Holly, and I have it on an album (yes, I still have all my vinyls). Mickey & Sylvia did the original, and although I love Buddy Holly, their version is best...and now stuck in my haid!
Thanks for the link, Texasstar... I did listen and I do like and know it, Roerick.Be it in the version of Buddy Holly :-)))http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlu32SOtLgU
Loved that song---give it a listen, Star, you may like it.
You're probably just too young! That was their only hit, I think (maybe their only recording).Give it a listen, it was all the rage here.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCvcZhX7oxk
Never noticed the look through sleeves, Squishy. I was focused on the brand of his guitar :-)That's the spirit, Smllpkg :-) And as far as the colours go... they both blue-ish :-)Two names I never heard, Texasstar. And the song doesn't ring a bell either :-(
This is probably Mickey & Sylvia still celebrating their big hit "Love is Strange"!
Shades of blue. Ketchup got it right. Turquoise and robin's egg. I love the picture. Dance like nobody's watching!
I don't like the sleeves on the dress - a bit too much exposure for my liking. ;-))). To settle the argument - the colours do look different; however, they could be the same but they are illuminated differently... (You know, like the difference between old light bulbs and new LED ones...)
Well start doing it . You need the practise:-)
The only dance I know is the smarty pants dance :-)
Still cold by you I hear. What a shame:-(( Start dancing that will warm you up:-))
They sure are enjoying themselves :-)
So long as they are enjoying themselves, they can do anything:)))-
Looks more like the Sirtaki to me :-)
She looks like she knows how to boogie.
Have to admit I never heard of the colour robin's egg blue, but I can live with the explanation :-)Thanks for settling this, Ketchup :-)
Let me settle this once and for all. The clothing colours of the pair are similar but different. The woman's dress is an aqua and the man's shirt is a robin's egg blue. Women know these things.Ha ha.
pfffffff women :-)
I dont want to argue:-)))Her dress is turquoise, and his shirt is blue:-))
Ofcourse her dress and his shirt match. The same shade of blue.Maybe you should adjust the colours of your monitor, Bent :-)Indeed Jan, they may have been, but my 'do you remember' memory lets me down on this one :-)
Hear, hear, roerick3, this is the age when we can be as eccentric as we like! You never know, they may have been a big hit duo in the 50s!
Her shirt does not match his shirt:-))Yes sure is the smarty pants dance:-))))
Her dress matches his shirt, Sissel :-)Morning Bent, glad you like it. Think she's doing the smarty pants dance :-)Indeed, Roerick. Bet he's singing "When I'm 64" by the Beatles :-)
Why not? At their age they should do anything they want whenever they want---they've earned it.
Morning star:-))What a fun puzzle:-))))I love it:-)))So lets dance:-)))
Lovely couple - so lets dance with them :-))) (nice dresscolour)
