Very pretty, would be fun to stay there for a while.
They do Hanne, I just don't want to meet one as close as the cougar last summer!
Well, you think exactly the way we do about bears!! It's very fine that they are around, but you don't really NEED to see one!! We've seen spillings from them too and of course tracks. They've got big feet!!!
Hi yellow, yes they are around but thankfully I have yet to see one! Not often. I saw your comment, thanks, now the world knows I am a PIG!!!!! ( I'm laughing!)
p.s. left you a note on JiggyBelleS site Oct. 20 , title "Write a Caption"- piggy
(honestly, no offense intended that's the tittle) !!!
You did say BEAR droppings???? Please tell me you don't have nightly visitors, OMG !!
You're welcome Hanne and thanks.
Oh, certainly it's nice!! Thanks so very much Robbie!!
Carol I appreciate all the help you can give about "droppings!" There are no cows or horses now, but plenty of deer, moose and bear droppings which should keep us busy between cooking and drinking!! Thanks.
It is Nancys, thanks.
We have yellow, but spring in Cape Breton can be in june! Thanks.
BBM, I called it a Cape Cod too, but I do see them a lot in the French communities here, thanks.
Interesting ladywil and thanks.
It is and thanks PKH.
It is that Shirley, thanks.
Go for it Kari! Thanks.
Thanks Ardy, appreciate it.
I'm sure they will be cevas, thanks.
Welcome Jacques, thanks.
The greenest grass in the area Celeste, thanks.
Thanks Marilyn, I enjoy seeing houses like this from the outside but I like all living areas on one level, spacious rooms and cool. The rooms upstairs seem too hot for me and I do not like stairs.
Our first house in Montreal looked like this - veranda and all.
So, Robbie, why didn't you build a house like this for you and Jenny behind the blue barn?
What a fine looking house and wow the grass is so green. Lovely
a very beautiful place Robbie, thanks for posting this mate
Such a beautiful house. Hope the new owners will be happy there too. Thanks, Robbie.
Lovely house. Wonderful location. Great picture. Thanks.
It's a lovely house. I want it.... :D. Thanks Robbie! :-))
Beautiful! and so well cared for, Thanks Robbie.
Anywhere, it is just beautiful!
Nice set today.
here in Quebec, this a French Canadian style
Yes Robbie, I don't know the others, BUT it's my favourite too.
No Robbie, it was maybe my 30th
In Ontario we call that a Cape Cod, because of the dormers I think. I had one a few years back and loved it.
What a beautiful, cozy house with an awesome garden; I'm assuming some other very lucky folks have bought it?
Do you & Jenny get to visit Cape Breton in the spring as well as autumn?
Looks like a lovely place to visit.
Loved catching up on your puzzles Robbiel! Gives me a good idea of what to have packed when I arrive at your front door. BTW I could be very helpful on the farm as I can look at cow/horse "droppings" and tell you what they are eating and how well the feed is being "processed". (Seriously, we all have many talents we normally do not share with others......shhh, only telling you.)
You are welcome PK, thank you too.
That is most interesting bookish, I like the name, thanks.
Hi Robbie. Love the house too. In province of Quebec that style was/is called 'Canadiana'. Now living in Eastern Ontario, I noticed the locals didn't know what I referring to by that name. Still don't know what it's called - perhaps a cottage.
Our first house in Montreal was a Canadiana with field stone, though without the verandah. It was cozy.
Love it beautiful home. I can see why you like it. Thanks for the tour of your vac today.
Thanks Graci, was this the first picture you looked at?!.....
There you go LJ and Morris, not far at all! Thanks both of you.
Road trip, just mapped it only a 32 hour drive from my house laurajane.
My kind of place. How I would love to visit Cape Breton!
Very nice, Robbie. Really like the green and blue. Well kept property.
My favorite picture today Robbie, thanks for taking me back to Cape Breton.
A Scottish couple owned this and ran as a B&B for years. It is one of the neatest and cute houses I have seen. They sold it this year and retired to Ontario.
