Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I made these colours blocks and patterns from scratch – not that there was much involved in doing that. LOL Each one was a single image that was tiled to create an “endless pattern”. And it took me about 20 minutes to make. One of my “normal” puzzles usually takes around four hours – sometimes more. I made this puzzle as my contribution to a movement of posting coloured block puzzles, which came from a discussion amongst some puzzle-makers about the conundrum of simple, colourful, take-no-time-to-create puzzles getting such a great reception from the solvers. Yet more complex, detailed puzzles that can take hours and hours to create are often given a luke-warm reception. It can be a frustrating experience for a puzzle maker. When you have put many hours into creating something that is creative, complex and unique. Sigh.

Speaking for myself as a solver – I rarely even examine the puzzles of my favourite puzzle makers before solving them. I just leap straight in. I know that their work is so good, that I will never be disappointed.

My normal puzzle transmission will return tomorrow. It gives me immense pleasure making puzzles, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. (•‿•)

That's good to hear, Amber! (•‿•)

Thanks so much Kirsten! I am going to have a lot of fun there.

You're welcome Amber! And I hope things go well in Texas, and with your studies. (•‿•)

And I think there's loads to see and do in Melbourne, but I could be biased. LOL I'm relaibaly informed that Melbourne is a lot like Portland, Oregon. We have a great food scene here, with brilliant food in all categories from cheap eats through to fine dining. We have loads of cultural things like museums, galleries and performing arts. We have a bit of an edgy culture with street art being big in our city, and whole laneways being dedicated to it. Sport is also big here, with cricket and tennis over summer, the Grand Prix in autumn, Aussie rules footy and soccer through winter. I'm not sure what happens in spring. LOL So that should be enough to get you started. (•‿•)

Thanks Kirsten! I love the puzzle and I just moved to Texas. I had to move because my college is there. I promised myself to visit Melbourne, Australia. Are there any good places to visit there?

Thanks Dize!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's not my most favourite ever of my puzzles. But I was attempting to make a point - as per the description. I'm glad you had fun with it though. (•‿•)

It's a pelasure, Kossamu!! (•‿•)

PS - can I ask. is Kossamu your real name too? I'd like to be able to use yours too - since you visit so much. Only if you don't mind of course. (•‿•)

LOL Jan!! That's SO funny. 'Cos I couldn't resist Jill's or Gail's either. But, for me anyway, I think it's about balance. Sometimes it can be fun to do a "quick and colourful" puzzle. But only as a side to the more complex, creative puzzles. Like yours!!! (•‿•)

Very eye-catching!

Thank You Kirsten! ❤️❤️

JiggyBelle

I agree completely with that discussion. So, therefore, I will not solve this puzzle!
Wait, too late, I couldn't help myself! I solved it! Luckily I didn't make the board. :)))

RandomWorship

Eeek! I've gotta cark to be appreciated?? Suddenly I'm thinking that being appreciated might be over-rated. LOL

LOL Jim!! Your comment made me laugh. And I think you are right!! Channelling Shultz from "Hogan's Heroes" and shaking my fist in the air - "curse the solver's fickleness!" LOL!!!
