And quite a gentleman is he.

lelabugosi

'Cinders' (for that is her name) is hiding in the fireplace.....she is shy, Plumpy....
I believe David will encounter cards in the card catalog....maybe that is the idea......

Plumpossum

David, please be careful romping through this card catalog. You never know what you might encounter. Oh, maybe that is the idea?

Plumpossum

No library is complete without a pussycat for your lap, just as no outfit is complete without cat hair. Where is your pussycat, Lela?

twoclubs

Dang! You are right again, Lela.

lelabugosi

If you saw it, then it would no longer be a secret, would it now!

twoclubs

May I see your secret room then Lela? Those Nancy Drew books wet my appetite!

lelabugosi

We only eat the "Peterpan Tadpoles" Hanne, as they never grow up into frogs.......(maybe because we eat them)....
double-batter....It's normally a bit wet under the ascending descender......

twoclubs

Awww sweet Pixel. Now don't go blaming him if things go wrong. Rather, walk under the ascending descender and claim your belief in superstition.

Elfie

I didn't think you ate tadpoles! Do you??

lelabugosi

Egads!....Your visionary powers of optically enhanced eyesight are truly amazing!.......That book is Fanny & Johnny Bugosi-Craddock's excellent book entitled "1,001 ways to cook tadpoles".......very interesting reading......

Robbiel

Gem your "dazzling aura" must be blinding you....Hee hee.
Lela I am impressed that you have a rather large cookbook there. Perusing your collection with my super duper glasses, magnifying glass and binoculars, I notice that the tenth book on the bottom shelf to the right of the ladder wheel has a picture of two chefs or waiters both look similar but one on the right is shorter and both wearing white aprons. They remind me of two waiters in Smith and Wollensky Restaurant NYC many years ago. Thanks for the memory.

david-still-as-many-numbers.......I'm sure you could learn something from it (just not sure what though),,,,,,

Oh for a romp in the card catalog...

lelabugosi

precious-pebble....But, I too have a ladder to roll and climb! (centre, back).....I also have a secret panel in my bookcase, which I cannot describe because it is a secret.......
No visitors today, Hanne-not-really-smoking-that-pipe.......Yes, I have changed my aura......

Elfie

Oooohhh, I see it now, you have come to your pink period!!

Elfie

Who is visiting you??

gemstone

I liked Professor Higgins' study better...he had a ladder to roll and climb...and a bannister to slide down.

lelabugosi

Yes, if I stood any further back you wouldn't see me!.......It is a bit bright isn't it?.......Maybe I should remove the chandelier thingy and lamp, and just have a couple of candles......(might even install a pool table).....

Robbiel

All we need now is a 'Gentleman!'...........Oh good gracious Lela, I didn't see you there, so sorry......you blend in so well with the books!! What a wonderful room you have there, so airy, spacious and light!

lelabugosi

Ah, that is 'Pixel'........If I don't keep an eye on him he cocks his leg up wherever he feels like it........(when I lend books out, people normally say they smell of tadpole.......of course I just laugh).....

bookish

You don't seem impressed with little Rover.

lelabugosi

Here is a study of....my study.......
This is where I retire to after 'a busy day', to catch up with my important correspondence, affairs of state, and state affairs also, as well, too...... On the shelves are just a few books, pertaining mainly to subjects concerning the glorious realm of Bonga-Bonga (mostly involving tadpoles, of course)......
Please feel free to zoom in as much as you like without any sense of intrusion.......the image will just go all fuzzy......
