The weather was several weeks behind in Iowa and Missouri. Tulips were just in peak bloom as you can see. This was at the entrance to Iowa State University.

Thanks for the comment and congrats, Laura. Sorry I didn't get your message and we didn't make it that far east or I would have contacted you.

Tex, you have blown the field away. You've been saving the best for last. Should I concede now?

Of course I am, Laura, I'm trying to let him down gently!

Oh tex, you are showing him your Charlie Brown azalea! These tulips are really pretty. You can see the light reflecting off of the rims. Beautiful warbler. And congratulations to your daughter!

texasstar7

What a gorgeous field of tulips! Ours bloomed about 20 minutes in February! Don't bother with the Azalea pix, I've got it in the bag, Warbman!

Thanks Lyndee, I'm really proud of her. This semester she taught 3 classes at Iowa State, wrote her thesis and presented it for her Masters Degree.

If you like tulips, mipahollo, this was one for you! Thanks back.

Thanks Suzy-I guess I need to get my azalea photos together.
