I love this site! I learn so much--expressions like "ants pants" and sharp as a marble! Too funny.
OK, be watching for it tomorrow.
That's where our boomerang went??? We were showing off hoping it would come back, but it didn't, and the American wasn't at all impressed with us. If you throw it good and hard in the direction of 'down-under' chickie, I'll try and catch it!!! Ta.
Hey chook, when I lived up north, I found a boomerang in my yard and have no idea where it came from. I lived on a country road. I still have it and have never thrown it. Don't want it to come back and hit me in the head. LOOL
Kinda makes me remember travelling across Canada and the States in a little green Volksy - we have boomerangs and kangaroos painted on ours!! I don't know what you folk would've thought because we travelled in two identical Volksies - same paintings and only one rego number plate the difference. We thought we were the ant's pants!!!! We certainly turned a few heads...haha. They were FUN days!!!
And the VW microbusses!
I was just going to say that, chickie about the peace signs. Remember how they'd plaster those old Volkswagen little bugs with flowers & peace signs? I loved it.
I never watched the partridge family morris. I was just thinking of back in the day.
Was that the partridge family bus? Dead Heads, right?
Yah, we could paint peace signs on it and those weird looking leaves. Maybe some flowers and rainbows.
Well, hell, let's just get a school bus and act like our generation, the 60's?
I don't know if my old work truck would make it down there, tex. But, I could try.
Should have enough room for laura and chickie! And from the Midwest, pick ups or SUV's.
Well then, it depends if you're headed to OK from the South West or North East. Those from the North East drive SUV's tex.
Oh, no, Morris, in Texas we all drive trucks (known in other parts of the country as pickups). We could get a nice number in the back!
Depends on the car I guess. We could rent a bus!
How many jigidi friends can we get in a car?
It's a nice ride for several miles.
Let's go, chickie!
Would love to drive on that highway. Thanks tex.
