Yay, we're having sunshine today!

That's an amazing amount of water tex - keep your tootsies dry!!

Morris, I don't think it'll run off, it's been slow and steady, but just constant for almost 48 hours straight. So that's a lot of rain. Chookies, I wish we could send you some of this rain and other folks who have snow!

But at least I'm up and running again with solving jigs!!!!

What with flooding and fires out of control and excessive snowfalls.......what next??

So yu are on high ground then. Not good for a drought if it all runs off. Stay safe.

It'll be even scarier looking tomorrow. I'm okay, don't worry, I'm not going out at all for a few days.

Well we're supposed to still get it all night long. Talk about a toad-strangler. This is sure good for the drought.

Thanks everyone! It's still raining hard out there. I'm safe inside but the streets are washed out. It's cozy in here.

Story about the spillway, one weatherman predicted a 30% chance of rain in the afternoon, (anyone who lives in Dallas knows it doesn't rain much). That afternoon for the first time the water went over the road flooded out nearly every place in sight. Spent the next season working on the spillway to avoid any more flooding. This was about 45-50 years ago.
