This is the kind of picture which sets my imagination running as to who or what lives in the little cottage. I think it might suit your Winter Bear quite well. Thank you for welcoming me to the OFC club. I am honoured to become a member. I adore anything orange. I have a deep seated memory of seeing a mass of bright orange Calendula flowers in someone's garden when I was a child and I have loved the colour ever since. If you mix in a bit of purple with the orange, I am in seventh heaven!
You are very welcome we are going to have to get together since the weather is getting better.. Right now I'm going into the office on Tues..Thurs... Fri... So that leaves Mon and Wed that we can play..
Sounds to me like it the carrier.. You know one time we had a carrier that would throw the mail in the trash so he didn't have to deliver it... This is crazy.. Hope you get it straightened out soon.
Hi Pat, no I haven't gotten my insurance cards yet. I'll call them again tomorrow to ask when they sent them. They would have sent them regular first class mail which can't be tracked. If I should have received them I'll ask if they can send another set by Fed Ex and bypass mail altogether. I called the PO Consumer Affairs office in Cinci again on Thursday. The woman I spoke to said she would send an e-mail to our postmaster and I should hear back within 72 hours. Hoping for some kind of explanation about my mail tomorrow. Last week again I had no mail Wed, Thurs or Fri. Some of my neighbors are having problems too. We're going to see if we can get some real solution from Congressman Pat Tiberi. Now I'm missing my most recent bank statement. I will probably contact the PO Call Center just to make sure there's a record for proof of ongoing serious trouble that can't seem to get resolved.
Hi Katie did you ever get the cards??? I talked to the person at the airport post office .. He said you need to contact the sender since they are the ones that sent them.. And they are the ones that have to tract them.. as you are the reciever..
Thanks Ardy! The woman I spoke with yesterday at my local PO consumer affairs office said she would e-mail the postmaster regarding my trouble. I've had serious problems since November and am about at my wits end! I would love to get a postal fairy!
Katie, that's awful what you are experiencing with your postal delivery service. I do hope someone will care enough to find out what is going on and soon. Maybe if your weather would clear up these little fairies could help. I thought I checked your profile this morning but I guess I didn't cause I just found these now. Thanks for the cuties.
Sure Pat! I'll take any suggestions. I'm hoping that the e-mail from the P.O. Consumer Affairs office to the Postmaster will get something going. The rep I talked to today read the response from my local post office manager that said he spoke to the carrier and was told that everything is being delivered. Ha! No mail last week Tues, Wed or Thurs. And no mail yesterday or today. Something is seriously wrong. And it doesn't look like the local manager is able or willing to truly look into the problem.
Instead of calling just go over to the postoffice that handles your mail and talk to them. I send at least 2 express mail env a week and when I have trouble ..It took me a while ... I have the sorting office and the post office in Houston TX that I can call... I only got one person that was rude..and boy was she rude... But I worked for the telephone company for 5 years back when I was young and dumb .. I learned real quick how to kill them with kindness.. I have to go in and mail an env tomorrow will ask the gal in my office what to do if you want me too... Just let me know...
Thanks Pat! Just FYI, I called the postmaster's phone number you gave me. It's answered by a recording that says if you're calling about a mail delivery issue call their call center. I left a message to tell them it doesn't work. Haven't heard back. Still don't have the duplicate health insurance ID cards I requested on Feb. 5th. I called Consumer Affairs again this afternoon and that rep is sending an e-mail to the postmaster. That was my 16th conversation with those people since Jan. 8th. I'm at my wits end!!!
You're right Robbie! My weather forecast is for sleet and freezing rain to arrive around 2 a.m. and continue for about 6 or 7 hours. Yikes! I'm running errands this afternoon.
