You're very welcome, Bill.

Agreed, lots of fun! Thanks to you and Bernardo Cesare, Pat.

Just for you, Andy. Glad you had fun with it. :-)

Lots of fun! I see that the good Dr. Cesare has resurfaced and you've worked out a plan with him. Excellent! And so was the puzzle.

Thanks.

i just stopped halfway 'cause I'm going home. will do it it later.
If you want a good quality image for a LARGE puzzle send me the link I'll send you the file.

I know at least two people who would love that challenge! Okay, three if I include myself. Here's the problem: when I click on your "your shot" photo, I can't save the image to download because of the copyright. Once NG puts it in the "photo of the day" category, then the general public has access.

Aha! I Googled "Bernardo Cesare images," there it was, and no problem saving it this time. I'll post it now on one condition - you have to solve it as well. ;-)

Would this one be too difficult?

Hello again, nearly two years later, Mr. Cesare. Thanks for the reference to the hard copy version of this puzzle - just in time for Christmas for puzzle fans! (Unless you have a poorly trained cat that loves batting puzzle pieces around, a few of which will join single socks never to be seen again. :-) )

Thanks for liking www.microckscopica.org.

The title is all I can take credit for, Leanne. Prof. Cesare has a fascinating hobby/occupation he is very good at. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment. I appreciate that. :-)

Good title, amazing colours and photograph. Thanks
