We used a separator and then poured the cream into the cream cans. And off to the creamery they went. Yes, I think the women worked much harder than the guys plus bore all those kids! At least the jobs were varied so you just moved from one to the other...in and out...how about some homemade bread, donuts, maplebars, plus cakes, desserts, cookies, and a whole meal. Most kids don't have a square meal these days.

Life the way it used to be, my, how things have changed! As I worked on this puzzle, it reminded me of the Back to School painting you posted earlier, sure 'nuff, also done by John Sloane. I like his style, thanks Gene!!
