I think I know better than to touch this one, lol. Though at 442 pieces, you could have made it a lot harder. Maybe I'll just open it and take a peek at the pieces. :)
Well I am still at it, pose 2 to 5 pieces a day. Remember, going for the World record for the longesttime in Puzzle solving. Am at 36 % And around 5 1/2 hours.LOL
Well, I am still at 29%. Work sometimes for half an hour without posing a single piece. Well, I might get into Guiness Book of World Records, if it goes on, for the highest score, maybe 20 hours? LOL
Thank you all for your kind comments - I still don't know why I am spending all these hours everyday when I had definitely intended to give it up in the new year. These big ones are just too hard to resist!
Stonehengia, my turn to eat humble pie!! I knew we had had this conversation before and I thought Aishah was wrong. I should have known better!! LOL You are a very good "jigger" and that is the main thing! Take care!!
Don't worry, Magda! These are very tough. It's no use doing things if they are not fun!! I was pleased that you gave it a try!! If you like a jig and want a different size(number of pieces), just let me know, roughly, how many pieces and I'll post it for you!! :-))
2.45 and still 25%. I give up. I used to do those 1000 pc. Ravensburger Puzzles. On a big cardboard, during the nights under the bed. So I used to place sometimes 10, and if I could more pieces. So I will do this one the same way, taking maybe one week to finish it--every day a bit. Sorry, I lost the challenge!
Aishahm, thank you for putting the record straight - and Tugman , I am definitely not a bloke!!! Maybe I should change my name to Stonehengia ? I am now actually a granny so from now on if you refer to me call me granny Stonehengia!
1 hr and 21 %. In the last half hour I could pose ca 10 pcs, and it was a big surprise, to see that they fitted. Can anyone tell me, why I am doing this?
I haven't started this one yet. Been running all day. Now looking at the only time posted, I beginning to question my sanity for even thinking about this puzzle. LOL!
OMG! Yes, I will probably need to turn off the monitor, but there is a limit of 4 hours at a time. Looking at your time, I may need to do two sessions. Imagine if you had done 540 pieces!
I'm on 14% and 50mins at the moment, Aishah. It won't be as bad/good as the "gold fabric" but will keep you occupied on your "snow days". If you still have the monitor, switch it off while you do the jig!!LOL
Pat, how did I know you would stop by? And you are as much a jigidi addict as I am if you going to work this too. Once Kathy gets here, the gang will be all here! : )
OMG! John, you are insane! Well, I think it's me that's the insane one, considering I am planning on working this one. I got my snow day and I'm almost positive I'm getting two in a row followed by my regular three day weekend. : )
