My theme today..My homeland and some information...
Gibraltar's appeal as a romantic location is not new. During the 1950s Hollywood stars Lawrence Harvey and Margaret Leighton were one of the first high profile couples to "tie-the-knot" on the Rock.

In 1969 the biggest media sensation was the marriage of John Lennon to Yoko Ono and soon after followed many celebrities, including James Bond, Sean Connery (who married on the Rock twice) and Roger Moore who chose Gibraltar for his honeymoon

My sympathy goes out to John Lennon,
He was not only an excellent singer and text writer
but also a man of peace!

Julian Lennon. Cynthia was his mother. The son he had with Ono is Sean. Julian has made some music, and I think he's good. Here's one of his songs:

Not to worry girls. I agree with you both entirely. Never knew what he saw in her.. I know that he was into eastern religion and I guess he liked her culture.. Love is blind as they say. :) Infact, we had in Gibraltar, an exhibition of articles supplied by John Lennon to his first son by a British woman.. (I cannot remember the son's name... I am getting so forgetful..:( too many things in my head at times). Anyway, the things on display was worth millions and there was a lot of security around). There were guitars and jackets and letters from him to his son..etc. all personal things really.

I feel the same way you do texas, I think he could have done much better, but I guess he must have loved her! She definitely cannot carry a tune that's for sure! So sorry Patricia, I too did not mean to take away from your puzzle, I'm sure your home is truly beautiful!

He could have had almost any woman in the world he wanted and how did he end up with her? I'm sorry, but she just doesn't have it in the looks department or talent either! Sorry for the rant, didn't mean to take away from your beautiful theme. I'm sure it's a fine place to "tie the knot"! Thanks, File.
