patsquire, I have saved your knitting instructions. If I ever take up my needles (I still have them!) again I will give your technique a try. Thanks for the tip...............
I agree, bogwurst. Ditto a man who can sew on a button! ;-) ..............

bogwurst

a man who knits... sexy ;)

These are wonderful, warm and colorful. I learned from my wife, who hated to see me wasting hours on Sundays watching football. She learned from her grandmother's nurse, who was German. It turns out the German technique is very different from American knitting and much more efficient. You clamp the left needle with your arm and only move your fingers, and the right needle does all the moving. It's faster, less tiring and you still get all the types and varieties of stitches in the book.

Hi. I can knit a straight line, but that's it! LOL A long time ago I taught myself & actually knitted a sweater for my very small daughter but I've forgotten it all now. It would be nice, though, huh? What about you, *themom*---do you knit?
Thanks, bw..............

bogwurst

Lovely colors. Lady or girl, she will love these. Or perhaps for yourself?................
