When we were here I don't think the NT had taken over yet as we wandered around the "castle" free of charge...so long ago. :)))

Joyce this has to be the crème de la crème of chimneys so far. At least we know the building is well cared for by the National Trust.
Yes 48 I'm glad it's being looked after too. This is an important building that mustn't be allowed to go to rack and ruin.
