You're welcome, Mandy. We didn't have lacrosse offered in our school. But I believe that a few years after I graduated they offered it. I would have loved to have played it though.
I played lacrosse rather than field hockey... it was a great game! Thanks Wendy :~)
Pat, you're kidding! That's amazing that they had never heard of it. I never ever thought of the fact that there were, and I suppose still are schools that have no fields for sports. In high school, sports were what I lived for.
When I got to Queens College, a very urban campus with very urban students (meaning that the high schools they came from had a gymnasium, and that's about it, because land is at a premium in NYC!), I had a big advantage over the others in my gym class, who not only had never played field hockey, they had never HEARD of it, either! :-)))
Pat, same with me! I LOVED field hockey, but we had a real task master of a coach. We had to run a mile before practice, and then a mile after practice. Besides that, we had to practice all summer long (not just during the school year), but I admit that I loved every second of it.
Yes, they do look more like field hockey sticks--I should have recognized them, because that's a sport I played, unlike golf! :-)))
....and then flanked by shovels.
Pat, that's AWFUL! Golf clubs????? Hmmm, if they were sports equipment, they look more like field hockey sticks!
LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super, super cool puzzle, and I love the title, even if I think it looks a little bit like golf clubs flanked by giant paint brushes..... LOL! :-)))
