The North Shore from Stanley Park, Vancouver

Thank you, mariolyn. Yes, the cruise ships go right along this route. I've never taken that (or any) cruise but mabye, one of these days ....!

Back in June, we passed by on the Celebrity Century on our way to Alaska. Interesting to get the reverse view.

I love this Cathy. I have a view of San Diego Bay (do use my binoculars to see details) and I am always delighted watching the ships and boats on the water. We have some very big ships that come and go and I especially enjoy watching the tug boats working with them. Thanks for this pic. This is the kind of view that's good rain or shine.

Thank you, Suzy. You're right, it is both those things! The rain poured down for the rest of the day so I had to take advantage of this small window of opportunity.
