You are right, kittenlove. I've read yesterday that albino squirrels have light pink or blue eyes which cause very poor vision. That is the main reason why the extremely rare albino squirrels live very shorts lives :( So I guess and hope it's the reflection of the berries :)
Thank you bloorox......you straightened me out.....lol. I couldn't tell exactly because the eye looks pinkish red which usually denotes albino. I still have a lot to learn at my age. It could have been the flash and the reflection of the berries. I just joined this site less than a month ago, and I have seen and learned so many things already, besides meeting some wonderful people such as yourself.....Janine
Thank you, kittenlove! Glad you liked it :) Wikipedia says albino squirrels are extremely rare, but there are quite a few white squirrels ;) I don't feel bad... anymore, Angelbender. I was a bit "hurt" by the blunt way in which he/ she said it, but the fellow is right, after all. Thank you so much for your lovely comment! :)
Don't feel bad, bloorox. This was posted as a puzzle a few weeks ago. I don't recall any reference to the photographer. It is still an outstanding image. A real show stopper.
Well, I've just stated where I found it, that's all. I will not surf the entire internet to find the origins of a photo, sorry. Obviously someone bought it, since it's on Facebook without the watermark ;) But thanks for the info, I'll make the change...
