You flatter me Cathy, but thank you! Thanks for telling me your name. There is a large row of hawthorns near the dog walkers tree which were plastered with flowers this year, abut I never had my camera with me to capture them.

Now Jan, you cannot live both in Gloucestershire AND Cornwall!!

Thank you Ank. This photo was taken from the nearby common which is where I regularly walk the dogs. The hawthorn bush in the foreground is known as "the dogwalkers tree", and is decorated every Christmas; I may post a photo of it nearer the time!
