I believe Barbaro could have done it had he not been injured. He's the closest anyone has come lately to having the speed and endurance to win all 3. Yes, Secretariat's Belmont Stakes win was unbelievable.
I love to re-watch Secretariat's triple crown races, especially the Belmont Stakes. That race will never be equalled. A win by 31 lengths and increasing by the second is amazing, especially when you consider that the horse that finished a distant second completed the race in a time that was faster than most previous winners! I can think of only one recent horse that came close to the talent that Secretariat had, and that was the late great Barbaro.
