Sorry to hear that Nova, I was looking at Baddeck Harbour and it looked calm with no snow or ice visible. Our cabin is just 20 minutes away. That black ice scares me, I don't mind driving in the snow but not on ice! Be careful and thanks.

Winter has arrived in Nova Scotia with snow & cold winds, as well as car accidents from black ice. Guess we must be going to have a real winter this year, This looks so serene and balmy, looking out your side window; how lovely........thanks, Robbie.

The winter gales will start next month and all that you see except the tree to the left will be brown and almost look like a northern hardwood forest when the leaves fall off.
