The ticket boot is still open, Bent :-)Just a couple of tickets left
Thanks Ardy for that bit of info:-)) I Have been wanting to go for years. Must be beautiful as I have heard so much about it from people who have been there.Enjoy your day:-))
A number of small chapels, Goingsilver? Another something I didn't know :-)
The onion domes fascinated me too Denise, and Moscow and St Petersburg are beautiful cities. I was a bit surprised and disappointed to discover that St Basil's Cathedral is actually comprised of a number of small chapels, rather than being one large Church. Still lovely though.
Ticket boot is open now...I sell tickets for a trip to Russia. Only USD 1,500 pp all in.For that price you'll get a bike and a tent each. Meals are not included

I always make kind and gentle remarks, Bent... as you well know :-)
Its okay star you are forgiven and I apologise for my remark:-)))
Since you were complaining of temperatures of 30° and up, I was merely trying to be nice, as usual.
Yah right:-)) Only you would think of a snide remark like that.
You should visit Russia in wintertime, Bentley. A refreshing experience.I have no idea how they make these onionshaped roofs actually. Never even thought of it :-)
I agree Denise. How did they make these domes? It's such an iconic building.
This is a country I really want to visit. These onion domes fascinate me. :-)))
