Chicki and Mary-It is lilac heaven!!! My sweetie and I got married in Rochester, and went with our parents to the Lilac Festival that weekend. It was the perfect place to celebrate an important moment in our lives. The smell of all of those lilacs is just amazing.
Ebkrueg-There were so many years growing up, when the lilacs and mother nature did not cooperate. I hope this will be a good year for them. Do they still send a bouquet of lilacs to the President and First Lady?

Queen Victoria used to buy her cake flour here, as it was the best :-). The weather has been playing havoc with the Festival. Lots of lilacs blooming too early, etc.
