LOL Robbie. Illinois is a looooong state Robbie. I am way south. I know the counties in the northern part and the ones down here, but not the ones in between. That price is really high. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the drought.

I really like this picture chickie, thanks. There are 8 bales of Alfalfa for $130.00 each in Macoupin County. These are big round bales, not sure if that is good or not. Net wrapped, no delivery!

I found them to be from $35 to $80 each. Morris. It prob. depends on what type of grasses/alfalfa etc., and if it's been rained on.

Wow. And if they use a semi load, why not.

The other neighbors told me but I forgot. Go figure. Maybe I can find it online. The people across the road have horses and said it is cheaper to get a semi load from Mississippi than to buy it locally.

What's a bale of hay going for this year? Something tells me that the price is up.

Hi morris. The pasture is quite a few acres, but I think the drought really took a toll on it. There are a lot of cattle, horses, mules and goats sharing the pasture. I see they put big round bales out there for them.

Doesn't look like there is much for them to graze on.

I'll just ship them to you young man and you can keep your bridge.

You need a very big BBQ and a ramp. I place a little corn on the ramp and they go right up and on the BBQ. I happen to have a bridge you can purchase for very little down and a long time to pay.

It's just gettin' them on there that's a problem.

I love them too but on the BBQ with a little salt and butter.
