LOL Robbie. Illinois is a looooong state Robbie. I am way south. I know the counties in the northern part and the ones down here, but not the ones in between. That price is really high. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the drought.
I really like this picture chickie, thanks. There are 8 bales of Alfalfa for $130.00 each in Macoupin County. These are big round bales, not sure if that is good or not. Net wrapped, no delivery!
The other neighbors told me but I forgot. Go figure. Maybe I can find it online. The people across the road have horses and said it is cheaper to get a semi load from Mississippi than to buy it locally.
Hi morris. The pasture is quite a few acres, but I think the drought really took a toll on it. There are a lot of cattle, horses, mules and goats sharing the pasture. I see they put big round bales out there for them.
You need a very big BBQ and a ramp. I place a little corn on the ramp and they go right up and on the BBQ. I happen to have a bridge you can purchase for very little down and a long time to pay.
