Thanks yellowgal - I agree about the Lorikeets, but the Crows are a bit of a pest:)))
Very interesting (and beautiful) visitors you have there, what a blessing!
LOL!! It would too Cathy - thanks:)))
Great picture!! Thanks Rob!! : )))I think Lorna's motto would be great on a t-shirt ... Power to the Lorikeets!!
LOL!!! I actually fed them in the rain this morning - and the Crow tried to land 3 times - but the Lorikeets stood their ground)))) They sure are bossy - and well armed - or should that be 'beaked' :)))) Thanks Dave!!
And red eyes dominate golden eyes!! The fighter jets dominate the bomber!! BUt good old Robyn, at the real top of the order, will have plenty of chow for everyone, I'm sure!!! :)))
Thanks for all your kind comments - they are much appreciated!! The Crow might be the biggest bird, but he's definitely down the pecking order at the feeder:)))
Yikes, the crow looks intimidating!
I'm glad the crow knows his place!!! :) Thanks Robyn.
He's at least twice their size it seems. Funny.
He's thinking "Hurry up, you guys!"
Looks like he thinking about eating them, Rob.
I can relate to this scene in a way.....we have a feeder too and it is very obvious that the squirrels are in charge and the crows and magpies and the timid pigeons all have to wait until the squirrel finishes or there is one big raucous racket that goes on. Good shot Rob.
Great photo Rob, I love the crow's expression! Power to the Lorikeets!
Great picture Rob, we have some birds here called Grackles that look very much like the black one.
LOL!! He actually tucked into some of the bread & honey - so they all share it Barb:))) Thanks!!Thanks Janet - the Lorikeets only have to screech and they get their own space:))) Looking forward to your posting tomorrow - thanks!!
Yes, our parrots are the boss, here, too. A wonderful pic, Rob, the crow is really eyeing off that food. Thanks and hugs, Janet.Tomorrow I have a "Bird Story" to post.
No, he has to wait with his stomach growling from hunger....Great photo, Rob!
Thanks Nev and Francamia - Mr Crow is not amused:))))
