That's an even more major problem to me than worrying if people will feel that they have to solve them--worrying if they will also feel compelled to comment! Really--I solved one of Wendy's pretty late at night a few days ago, and didn't comment, because I was so tired. But then I thought, damn, if she sees my name on the board and no comment, will she think I didn't like it?! So I wrote something. And it is silly, because I would never have solved it if I didn't like it--there are too many puzzles on Jigidi that I want to solve, and not enough time, so I won't waste my time solving something I don't like! So I'm really glad you don't feel compelled to comment every time! I mean that! :-)))
I think most people only solve the puzzles they are interested in, so you needn't worry. And the time commitment for solving the small loonies is minimal for most, so you shouldn't worry about that either. Since you've been posting 4 daily loonies more often, I don't always comment on each one, even though I solve nearly all of them. Seems like I am always running out of interesting comments and since you always get so many comments, I figure you won't miss me commenting on every puzzle!!!
Yes, that's true about Wendy--and it seems that only maybe two, or at the most three, are what I call small (under 50), with more that are 81 or in the 100's, 200's, and 300's, which is a large time commitment, so I've had to pick more carefully myself. That's why I feel guilty when I don't post two new Paintings on some days--they come in 3 sizes, so no one has to do a size they don't like just to get the pattern they like. It's also why I post my Loonies in under-50 pieces, so that it won't be a burden on people who are time-short. But I still feel guilty about them, because I'm afraid that some people may feel that they have to do all of them, and comment, or I'll be disappointed, which is not so! I would hate to have people do my puzzles because they feel they should, as friends, and not because they genuinely want to do them!
Glad to hear things are back to normal for you. I also used to try and solve all of Wendy's puzzles, but with eight new ones every day and rarely duplicates in different sizes, it was impossible to keep up, so now I pick and choose.
I've been busy with relatives in town for the last couple of days, but tomorrow things will get back to normal. Tonight I'm only catching up on comments and bookmarking. Will have plenty of puzzles to keep me busy for the next several days!!
Yes, the mouse was back to normal by morning, even without two aspirin...! I have found that my bookmarks are getting bigger again, because of my busy weekend and doctor visits--I used to do almost every one of Wendy's puzzles, and I just haven't had the time..... :-(((
Have a great Wednesday yourself--thanks, whatnauts!
Cool. On another puzzle you were inquiring about possible over-usage of loonies. The other reason I am happy to see more loonies is because they don't take very long and help to keep my markmarks in order. Granted, I seem to be doing a fairly decent job with the markmarks, but I had an extra day this weekend to help with that. Tonight was a short puzzle night and tomorrow will likely be the same, but after that I should be back to my regular schedule.
On another matter - I saw somewhere that you were having problems solving - mouse issues and slow moving pieces - has that resolved itself. Well that's it for tonight. Have a wonderful Wednesday :)
I agree--that's exactly what I thought--not the skewed, first, and also that, even if I don't think it's that good, it's the kind of puzzle that will probably be popular, with the clear blocks of color and the simple pattern... But I have been having fun with the skewed again tonight in LunaPic...! :-D
I'd certainly solve the 'original' version in a medium size and given the colours and pattern, I would think this puzzle would be very appealing to the masses (in all sizes). (Of course, I've been wrong before....)
I think the 'skewed' one would be less appealing to the masses. But then again....(see above). hahaha
This is the original, and the skewed version I used to make the loonies. Do you think either one is worth posting as a puzzle? I don't think they're that interesting, but they made several cool loonies, so they weren't a total loss... ! Thanks!
Bright basic blossoms (no credit here - I simply recited your title).
