Happy Birthday to all the Jigidiers who have birthdays in April!! Diamonds are YOUR birthstone.

I made these kaleidoscopes from freely available images of coloured diamonds. I use a variety of programs to make my kaleidoscopes, recolour the backgrounds and assemble them into a collage. Each 3x3 collage takes around 2 hours to make.

It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. :-)

And a message to my regular solvers - our Daylight Savings Time finishes tonight, here in Melbourne, Australia. So from tomorrow, my puzzles will be posted an hour later than they currently are. Until October, anyway!

Hmmmm, it depends on the jewellery store for me, Mariasha. Conventional bling, ain't my thing! But semi-precious stones, in interesting settings I find hard to not look at! And gosh, anytime. I'm happy to help a friend out with their addiction any time. Did someone say "enabler"? LOL

Do you find yourself slowing down in front of jewelry store windows? I do...I don't even want any of it, where would I wear that sort of thing (in my garden?), but I doooooo love to look. Thanks for contributing to my voyeurism!

Oopsy! Yes I did mean to say kaleido-oven! LOL

It was quite a revelation to find bookmarks.
Did you mean to say "kaleido-oven", my dear? I'm not sure what a "kaleido-over" is!

Well happy birthday Pat! :))) Care to divulge the date?

And psssst. I'm Kirsten!! :-DDD

Thanks Barb! They're fresh outta the kaleido-over today! And I had a lovely time making them. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. :)))

Woo hoo!! Congrats Gail! And that's pretty funny how you used to handle bookmarks!! You must have facepalmed good when you figured it out! LOL

Thanks Mandy ...I wear my birthstone everyday...

First of all, congrats to Gail for passing the 820,000 mark. It will take me a few more years to get there!
Second, these are gorgeous, Kirsten. I like the whole middle row starting with the blue (of course), then the pinky purple, and finally the yellow. All so beautiful! :-)

Passed the 820,000 mark. It's been a blast being on Jigidi. You're absolutely correct ~ the friendship, satisfaction, beauty and fun have all been worth it. Just think how many pieces I would have put together by now if I wasn't creating puzzles? Count in all the thousands of pieces I put together under Octomom, Octomom2 and my cat profiles, and it would most likely be another 50,000-100,000 pieces. Did you know it was a full year before I figured out bookmarks? I didn't even know they existed. I would copy the link into an email so I could remember who I wanted to follow up with. If there was a puzzle I wanted to solve later, I'd also copy the link and paste it into the email. D'uh... There really needs to be a how-to guide. I spent a long time creating one for TPTB, but they weren't in the least interested. Oh well...

Thanks Gail! I love coloured diamonds - regular ones are just a little too blingy for my tastes. :)))

Wow, these are gorgeous. I could see all of these being made into stud earrings. Stunning!

Oooh, you took a break on a Catherine puzzle for ME? I'm very honoured!! And that's an amazing number of pieces! I think my own stats are probably going backwards now! LOL And it doesn't bear thinking about what else we could be doing. Just think of the satisfaction, friendship, fun and beauty! :)))

Hi Kirsten, I'm working on a super-large Contomiani puzzle, but I'm stopping it to work on this one. Between the two, it will put me past 820,000 pieces. Wow. To think of all the other productive things I could have been doing these last 3-1/2 years!
