Thanks Ank, buck and Kari, looking a lot better.
Beautiful picture! That is some waves..... I hope the hurricane takes another direction for your sake. Be safe! :-))
Hold on tight Robbie! Here's hoping it does pass without a direct hit! We've been getting the updates on our local weather all the way up in Ohio. We had rain for about 3 days from the end of Isaac.
Do I understand well Robbie, is there a chance Leslie will pass you. It should be great news, I hope so.
Hi BJ, the wind just started getting stronger but not bad yet Only about 25 to 30 knots. Leslie was downgraded and standing still until now. It is starting to move north and will regain strength tomorrow, hopefully missing us to the east.
Not bad PKH, tomorrow will tell.
Yes, got some good ones couple of hours ago yellow, will put a couple on later.
Thanks JM, it is, even with hurricanes!
This looks like a beautiful place to live. Thanks for sharing,
Yes! Very glad to hear the remaining pics will be from land . . . you can relax, recuperate & let Jenny wait on you !! :))
How are things this morning, Robbie?
Watching hurricanes can be rather dramatic. Heard this one is staying put for a while and not moving. How is the wind, nasty?
Thanks PK, everything else from land now.
Great set of pics today. Be safe taking them
For sure PLG.
Hi Nancy, thanks.
I'm too worn out Celeste, 3 hours in the sun did me in. I didn't even catch a fish!!
Wow again Robbie and I do think you are stressing your guardian angel. :)
All the pictures are beautiful but really stay safe!!
Thanks for the show..... Some great shots here.... Stay safe... :) :)
Gorgeous. But no more pictures now, Robbie, -- except those taken from the shore close to home!
You are a crazy fella.
Be safe and keep in touch when you can.
If you must go out in this tomorrow, you could always go surfing . . . NOT !!!
Your guardian angel's hair is turning grey, Robbie. God bless.
Thanks Shirley and tex, no need to worry.
Hey great idea, I'll try that tomorrow PG, waves should be bigger! Yes those slow ones are the ones to watch as you well know, although it looks like taking a turn to the east.
Thanks Robbie, it's brilliant really. Glad you were able to write about it!!
Robbie you can catch a wave and hold the camera above your head and get a great action shot or do a video. :) Hope it misses you but it is moving slow and not turning much... Best of luck.
It's just beautiful, Robbie. Glad you're taking no chances, young man!
I do love the colour of the water there, beautiful, but please be safe. Thanks Robbie.
This is the Island I wanted to land on and take pictures. NO WAY!! Where the surf is breaking there is usually a beach that stretches out about 30 feet from the sign. The lower sign is about 6 or 8 feet above low tide so you can see how much surf there is here. This was our favourite spot growing up, we would camp here all weekend, a couple of times we slept on the hill where the sandy path is. We caught fish and lobsters and cooked on the beach. A big pot of salt water with potatoes and corn and grilled the others above charcoal in the sand. This had a small fort and gun emplacement on the top, but the weather has eroded it almost completely.
