This one is for Andy aka Dris 651.

The Japanese observe the spring blossoms as a part of hanami - the appreciation of the transient beauty - but you don‘t need a deep, philosophical meaning to enjoy a leisurely stroll down these picturesque streets. And for those of us still in the icy grip of winter, they‘re a nice reminder of the coming spring.
Walking down such a street can be mesmerizing, but there are practical advantages, too. Apparently, tree-lined streets help with all sorts of heat-related urban problems, increase evapotranspiration (evaporation and transpiration from the Earth's surface) and encourage walking and cycling. Although we have to do more than just plant trees, they sure do help, Travelia. A lot.

Great picture, especially with the 2 friends walking there peacefully.
Indeed: more trees in a city bring down the temperature! The more trees are planted in towns and villages, the better it is to live there, and even more important as towns are getting hotter and hotter..........
and... if gives work to the people can clean away the leaves etc. in autumn!!
