Robbie, the best thing about this recipe is that it requires no cooking. I have a runaway sweet tooth, but I'm sure you will be able to amend the recipe's ingredients to suit your taste.
Hi PPM, the recipe sounds really good. Jenny makes the all chocolate and penuche fudge at Christmas, but I find them too sweet and rich. Maybe I'll like the cream cheese better! Hope you enjoyed yours, looks really good, thanks.
Uh oh - - I really stepped in that cow pie. . . .
It completely depends on the honey.
Furthermore, PG, I have observed that honey (or fudge) catches more flies than vinegar (or cow pies). Are you a fly?
It's off by express possumcopter, PG! What's left of it, anyway.
Thank goodness plumpness I thought you were getting into the cow pie hurling bit at poor photogent with the rest of the group. I knew you were about all that and this was something good to eat. Enjoy and remember to mail any excess to me for judging. Have a great time your royal plumpness/baker.
You can add a smidgen of peanut butter, if you like the combination.
Sounds fabulous, Varda!! Must try it!! Thanks so very much!!
Thanks for making all of us envious--I make this same recipe leaving out the nuts and vanilla and adding crushed peppermint candy or Andies mint candies at Christmas and we always go thru the 5 lbs I make, what with send homes with guests over the holidays and us.
Thanks, Plumpossum! Happy indulging!
Here's where I found a recipe, Laura:http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/chocolate-philadelphia-fudge-52099.aspx
Any chance of getting the recipe?
Thank goodness for small favors.
Well, you'll only HAVE enough to overindulge because I'm not there with you, Plummy!
Thanks DelSol. My craving for fudge overwhelmed me today. And yes, I will definitely overindulge!
Plumpossum, I can't believe this. All the coincidences I'm running into here jigidi. This is the most recent of four since yesterday. I've been thinking and trying to choose between making some cream cheese fudge or regular old chocolate tonight! I have such a craving for it and know if I make some I'll overindulge, LOL. I see you're using a silicon mat to let it set up on. Enjoy your fudge. :)
Delicious fudge always does seem to purify my mind.
Just never mind, P-Skewed. Think clean thoughts. (I know that's asking a lot from you, but do try.)
WHEW! So that's what it is!
