Thank, Ardy, PJ, and whatnauts--my husband headed out to the stores early this morning, too, because we were supposed to get lots of snow starting in the early afternoon. As it turned out, it didn't begin until around 5:00, but now it really is coming down! Maybe we'll finally use our new snow blower. We bought it last year, right before the October storm, but that storm knocked out power for six days, and it's an electric blower...! We didn't have much snow after that, so we've never used it yet......That song went through my head often, today, because of this, and it had finally stopped...until,someone reminded me...! I know I was stretching by trying to add this to my butterfly collection, but I figured that name might make it oaky! :-)))
What a cute little Tannenbaumerfly and it has all those stars to light its way. Thanks PD.
Pat - so lovely and fun. I've been humming 'O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum, Wie treu sind deine Blätter.....' all along while solving - and had a great time! Hubby has only shoveled once today - and we still enjoy a lot of whiteness to light up all the dark hours.PJ
Pat, I love your title. And I do recognize your tree and its decorations. What a neat puzzle. Thank you. While I was eating breakfast it started snowing so I quickly went to the grocery. By now it's raining and the snow is mostly gone. I could have waited but at least now I don't have to go out again. No Wednesday night rehearsals until the middle of January. While I love my bell choirs, it is nice to be able to stay home.
Thanks, Ank and Katie. We're supposed to be getting a storm in an hour or so, as well--then I can join you both in your shoveling! :-)
Terrific design Pat! That heavy snowfall in the middle is just what it looks like outside my house right now! I'm going to have to get my long johns, snow pants, boots, wool hat, down coat, etc. so I can go out to shovel my sidewalk later.
