Sights like this one are amazing to watch from a distance, but terrible to witness first hand. I've read there were around -27 degress C in those days...
It's amazing how the weather can do things like this. Also amazing how the people cope with it - looks pretty darn cold to me!

I have never seen anyplace so frozen. It almost looks like a model made of white chocolate!!!
I vote for the Caribbean! Although I will surely miss the snow at some point...
That town may be a bit too nippy for me. I'm thinking Arizona or Florida would be nice... no, wait. Make it Mexico or the Caribbean. Anyplace but there!
