This reminds me of an elderly woman I knew who had a caboose behind her house. She used it to hold her loom and supplies, and it made an excellent weaving shop.
I absolutely agree about the old cabeese! I'm sorry that my grandkids have never had the pleasure of waiting for that wave from the red car with the funny top at the very end of the train. :(

This reminds me of an old caboose upstate that was spruced up & has been a tiny diner for years. Unfortunately, the food is not anything to write home about : > ((
I agree with Lanty. It's not the same trains that I remember as a child.
I guess this is how most of the old cabooses (cabeese??) ended up-- very sad. I do miss seeing them at the end of trains, which just don't seem quite right now, without them. Thanks for the neat picture and the nostalgia!
