Flowers in the Keys

Thank you everyone. Maybe thorns, maybe weeds, maybe flowers, but still pretty.

I don't know a lot about flowers but whatever this one is I like it a lot so thanks lyndee for showing it and great set

They look like Bougainvillea - which have nasty thorns. If it is - they thrive on neglect lyndee. if you water & feed them you get more greenery & less flowers. They also come in a dwarf variety that you can grow in a pot.

Those beauties will rip you to shreds. They have a great amount of thorns and you have to trim them with a machete. I grew then in Florida and when you get them they are in a neat climbing little trellis but then they grow and you cannot get near them without loosing a lot of blood.
