I spent part of one winter in Montana and it snowed almost every day, but melted very quickly and was like dust, so you couldn't really play in it, and in a couple hours you had a lot of mud to deal with! This is just so beautiful - I, too, love it when the snow sticks to the trees. We had some lovely snow here in Olney, England for a few weeks - haven't had snow like that since I was a child. I just hate it when it all melts and gets icky!
