Ohhhhhhhhhh, Magda, I taught myself too, and I had plenty of computer crashes in the past. I hated the "blue screen of death." Luckily, I haven't had another one for years now. :-)
I am 75--- yes, and trying to stay young in mind. The computer crash was not the sortage of memory, more likely the shortage of computer-knowledge! I got my first PC when i was over 60, and had very little help to teach me. So I learned the hard (and sometimes expensive) way by trial and error. But I am trying. And you should not give up on "staying young". As long as your creeative spirit is alive, you are young. After all, age is just a number.
Magda, I don't think you mentioned your age before...but I'm 64....and I can tell that I'm not nearly as adept at learning new things as I used to be....but I try anyway. Otherwise, I think my brain would wither away even faster. I'm glad that you still have the vision of perhaps staying young. At this point, I've given up on that. lol
Magda, it's always wise to walk through gardens slowly. :-)
If your computer crashed while trying to create puzzles, then chances are you don't have enough computer memory. But it sounds like you're just as happy solving puzzles. I think everyone is daunted by Windows when they first start using it. Don't worry. Soon enough you'll have everything set up the way you like it....and all will be fine. :-)
It was nice to take a ( very) slow walk in your flower garden. I was away, because, trying to create puzzles too, my comp. crashed. So I decided to just enjoy doing the puzzles on jigidi, otherwise my hobby becomes too expensive, plus now I am fighting with windows 8 on my new PC///very complicated.
advia and whatnauts, I hope you enjoy the other one this weekend. It's weird. The pieces look like they're all of one color each, but I think the Landscape one will be more enjoyable the more pieces are put together. The gradients should be more evident about 1/3 of the way through.
