HaHaHa Java! I put a better explaination on one of the other puzzles. I should have put it here as well. The Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. It was built in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition

Sheesh, you'd think among ALL those Southern Baptists at least ONE of them could tell the difference between a false god and True Goddess! ;-))) P.S. Thought the Parthenon was in Greece, shows how much I know! Thanks ;-)

Couldn't they have found something better to complain about? I thought our Constitution guaranteed freedom of (and from) religion.

At the time this statue was commissioned there was a huge outcry of displeasure by the Southern Baptists because it honored a false god.
